Week of Feb 20

For those of you that are new to the ski program, Giant slalom and slalom make up the technical events in alpine ski racing.

Slalom involves skiing between poles (gates) spaced much closer together than in Giant Slalom.

Giant Slalom involves skiing between sets of poles (gates) spaced at a greater distance to each other than in Slalom.
