Grand Traverse Ski Club Coaches

"My passion is to give back the gift of skiing, a gift someone gave me so many years ago. I realized long ago that skiing is one of the best family sports, something families can do together and it can take them on adventures to amazing places! It is an honor and a privilege for me to work with so many amazing families and ski coaches. I watch these kids grow up way to fast, at this special place in my heart called Hickory Hills"   - Coach Z, Director of Coaches

GTSC prides itself on recruiting, training, and retaining some of the best ski coaches in Northern Michigan.  Our team has a broad range of skiing experiences, ski certifications, and racing backgrounds.  Many of our coaches grew up skiing at Hickory and were GTSC members.  We value their depth of knowledge, love of teaching, and encouraging words while instructing our skiers.  Continue reading to learn more about our coaching staff.
