Interim Director of Coaches
My parents met working at Sugar Loaf and had me on skis by my second winter. I raced at Sugar Loaf for Leelanau Ski Club and one year at the Homestead before switching to GTSC when I was 8. I raced with GTSC until High School when I was on Varsity all four years at Traverse City West and was named All State two years.
After high school I was fortunate to become a member of The Young Americans which is a non-profit music outreach program. I spent the next seven years traveling across the US and to places like Japan, Australia, and South Africa. While traveling, our focus was music based workshops that brought joy and confidence to students and adults all over the world.
I moved back home to Traverse City five years ago and began my coaching career at Grand Traverse Ski Club. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to combine my love of working with kids and ski racing, my two biggest passions.
During the non-winter months I work at an organic produce farm in Cedar and can be found at the local farmers markets!
A fun fact about me is that I speak Japanese, Spanish and I am currently learning French!
