The Grand Traverse Ski Club is a volunteer-run, non-profit club dedicated to offering quality instructional ski and ski racing programs for skiers from kindergarten to young adult at an economical price.  GTSC is committed to developing strong skiers and ski racers with a focus on fun and sportsmanship. 

We offer a wide variety of ski clinics and racing options for all levels of skiers.  Explore our programming options, attend one of our events, and join us on the slopes at our home hill, Hickory Hills Ski Area.

About Grand Traverse Ski Club

Community leaders of Traverse City first envisioned a local ski area for children in the late 1940’s.

Although there were a limited number of ski areas in the region, most children did not have the means to travel to these ski slopes.
